Church body, you’ve done incredibly thus far.  We have just about $500k to the budget this month (toward “The Challenge”).  With 3 days left in the month we are about $90k short of our greater goal.  I don’t know what will happen in those days, I just know that I’m so thankful to serve a body of believers who have decided to follow the lead of other church members in seeing UBC be better stewards of our resources and ministries.

While I’m out this week (with family), I’m praying for our fellowship and the hopes that I have for us in 2011.  I am confident that we have much to be thankful for and much to be hopeful for, because should the Lord tarry, we remain for the sake of the gospel in each other and for the lost.  I’m looking forward to laboring with you as the Lord allows.
