It’s been a whirlwind few days. After a really good, but long Sunday, I had a pretty productive Monday with a good bit of it getting ready for Together for the Gospel Conference in Louisville, KY. After about 3 hours of sleep I woke up about 3:30 on Tuesday morning to prep and catch a 6am flight. After arriving, already feeling like it was a full day, I made it to the convention center for the first session with Mark Dever, who was at UBC in 2009.
I m privileged to hear the likes of Al Mohler, RC Sproul, John MacArthur, John Piper, Thabiti
Anyabwile, Ligon Duncan, CJ Mahaney, and Matt Chandler. Wow! Oh, and after it’s all done on Thursday, I’m privileged to go straight on to a pastor’s retreat with Mark Dever and the folks from 9Marks. Intense, tiring and, hopefully really refreshing mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.
Right now I’m preparing to listen to Piper by loading up on some Panera (my idea of “soul” food). More later. Continue to pray for me, Stephen Martin, Ryan Martin, Cole Pinnock, Trey Richardson, and 6 other college students with us. What a blessing to have a church that supports this kind of equipping and to have part of that church with me in it!
