1. Another good resource is ‘The Nature of the Atonement’ which gives a good overview of four main views of the atonement. The Penal Substitutionary view is written by Thomas R. Schreiner – New Testament/Greek professor at Southern Seminary.

2. “Jesus’ Blood and Righteousness” by Brian Vickers (Greek Professor at Southern Seminary) gives a good overview on imputed righteousness, as addressed by Paul, in Romans.
