I’m terrible at golf. I appreciate the game and the skill to play it, but the only lesson it offers me is humility (and all of its glorious effects)…therefore, I choose to play very, very sparingly. I watch it some, so I’ve come to appreciate Tiger Woods’ ability and competitiveness. He’s pretty incredible…when it comes to golf.
Like many, I was disappointed at the recent events in his life and, although I do not need him as a role model, I believe that, like so many others, he has become the real-life object lesson for us to better live out our roles (especially as men).
