Starting tomorrow morning the UBC staff will be spending a day and a half in prayer, planning and dreaming about the near and not-so-distant future for the body of Christ @ UBC.  Please pray that God would give us hearts of passion for His greatest passion…His glory, specifically His glory in the church.  I am excited about what God is doing amongst the people of UBC, but realize that there is much to become and much to do.  It begins with His people seeking His face in prayer.  Do this alone, in groups, at church, in LifeGroups (when they start again Aug.30), in corporate worship.  For now, pray for us (the staff) as we so desire to see you all presented acceptable to Christ upon His return.

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.
