Okay. I’ve debated for a long time whether or not to post this video. I don’t want to scare off those who I am in counseling with, or those who are thinking about counseling with me. HOWEVER… I do find enough redeeming value in this video, that it’s worth your viewing…and it’s hilarious!
FYI – I grew up watching The Bob Newhart Show, so that may tell you a bit about the early formations of my sense of humor.
Yes, I’m quite ready to agree with you that it is a hilarious segment. I don’t find it difficult at all to concur with your observation, for I myself have enjoyed watching most of Bob Newhart’s programs with utter delight and appreciation. Sometimes we need nothing more than STOP what we are doing even before we start doing it. Bob makes a very good point that should be easy for all to remember [and without having to takes notes!]. Whatever the need or problem may be, it is the Lord Alone who provides the power to live a godly life. It is always easier to say No to the wrong once we’ve said Yes to the Lord, for how can we ever say No to Him, and still call him Lord in the same breath? [Luke 6:46]
