As I’ve stated before, we don’t need to cause a great financial windfall for Pullman’s hopeful future films by publicly boycotting The Golden Compass. History tells us (baptists) that when we officially boycott something, many times that curiosity leads to financial benefit of the very thing we wish would go away (i.e. De Vinci Code, Disney, Last Temptation of Christ). However, you should be very informed on this new movie and, in my opinion, choose not to go. If you’re really curious about it, check the books by Pullman out from the library at most, just try to avoid sending money this guy’s way.
